Thurman Thomas rushed for 186 yards and scored three TDs as the Bills became the first team in history to reach four consecutive Super Bowls by beating the Chiefs 30-13 at Rich Stadium. Henry Jones made the key defensive play, intercepting a Joe Montana pass near the Bills goal line with seconds left in the first half. Montana was forced to leave the game in the 3rd quarter with a concussion.
